Our story

Built on a foundation of sapphires

Sapphire began as a dream in 2011. David Vieira and Seth Williams were working for family in Kansas City when they started asking what it would look like to build a company that paired a passion for service with hard work and dedication.

“Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, and lay your foundations with sapphires.”

That verse gave us our name. Our first idea was “God Is Faithful,” and that's still what Sapphire means to us: God is faithful, and He is the foundation of everything we do. We believe our company is part of the foundation He is laying on this earth.

That's why our first priority is to make great men and women, not just great employees. We're building a culture of excellence, commitment and dedication, and from it we passionately serve our customers and our city.
